the ‘Synaphé’ Association and the ‘Concordia pour Musique et Art’ Association, with the kind support of the Department of Economy, Culture and Tourism - ECT of the Commune of Montreux and the Association de la Vielle Ville de Montreux, are pleased to invite you to the concert BALKAN MOODS with the participation of world-renowned jazzman Theodosii Spassov, kaval and Atanas Ourkouzounov, guitar George Vassilev, guitar Dimitar Ivanov, 10-string guitar Irina-Kalina Goudeva, double bass and vocals Music by Dušan Bogdanović, Atanas Ourkouzounov, Theodosii Spassov, Emil Tabakov, Lijubomir Denev, Atanas Boyadzhiev, Dimitar Ivanov The ‘Balkan Moods’ project is a celebration of the synergy and complicitý between five virtuoso artists, each bringing their own musical expertise and sensibilitý. Together, they explore a new repertoire for quintet, distinguished by its spontaneous and emotive musical aesthetic. The haunting melodies, complex rhythms and rich cultural traditions of the Balkans, brought together in a symbiosis of three genres: classical, jazz and folk.
